A cultural landmark in the lion city of Singapore, Jigger & Pony has never shied away from proudly wearing the badge. Founders Indra Kantono and Guo Yi Gan have spent the last 14 years shaping the bar's story to consistently communicate one core message – hospitality must always be convivial. This message is deeply embedded in the bar's DNA and everything it does – from service rituals to menu design and development. Every element of this plush bar, located at the lobby level of the Amara Hotel, exudes a casual sophistication that feels easy to embrace. A hotel bar that is very much unlike a hotel bar.

The drinks strike a balance between contemporary thinking and classic foundations, while the bar's annual, highly conceptual menus, or 'menuzines', have become a signature of the bar, eagerly anticipated and increasingly coveted as collectors' pieces among its patrons.

The latest menu, Bloom, explores the idea of growth through a collection of cocktails that balance familiarity with invention. Across 21 drinks, the programme moves between unexpected ingredient combinations, playful reinterpretations and more restrained expressions of classic cocktails. In true Jigger & Pony style, the menu is particularly focused on exploring how flavours develop, with bright, fruit-driven drinks sitting alongside savoury, earthy and more nuanced creations. Rather than treating innovation as an end in itself, Bloom feels approachable, allowing technique to support and enhance rather than overshadow the drinking experience. The result is a menu that reflects Jigger & Pony's ability to evolve while retaining the warmth, accessibility and precision that define its style.
