Aman Nai Lert

Bangkok

Aman’s lush Bangkok debut

Give me the lowdown: Aman Nai Lert Bangkok is Aman's first hotel in the city, occupying a 36-storey tower within the seven-acre Nai Lert Park in Bangkok's Lumpini district. Designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, it holds 52 suites and 39 branded residences, and adjoins the Nai Lert Park Heritage Home, where guests can tour the family's antique collection and a boat museum.

Any standout suites? Suites start at 94-square metres, among the largest in the city. Premier Suites run to 94-99-square metres with southerly views over Nai Lert Park, Corner Suites are 92-square metres with 270-degree cityscape views, and the Terrace Suite adds a 114-square-metre open-air terrace. The flagship Aman Suite occupies the entire 18th floor, spanning 566 to 713-square metres depending on configuration, with its own private spa, entertainment room, separate kitchen and 12-seat dining room.

Eating and drinking: Seven restaurants and bars make up the food and beverage programme. Arva is Aman's signature Italian restaurant, Sesui serves omakase sushi in an intimate setting, and Hiori turns teppanyaki into a theatrical, interactive experience. All-day venue 1872, named for the 1872 birth year of Nai Lert, pairs Thai and Western dishes with afternoon tea, while Aman Lounge offers cocktails and Japanese-inspired snacks against a sunset skyline, and the Cigar Bar holds a private humidor.

What about wellness: The 1,500-square-metre Aman Spa & Wellness spans three floors and includes the Medical Wellness clinic operated by Hertitude, a 24-hour fitness centre, hydrotherapy and thermal facilities, the separate Banya Spa House and a Mobility & Recovery Programme developed with tennis pro Novak Djokovic.

What's on offer: Daily cultural programming includes Thai boxing sessions, flower garland and lotus-folding workshops and guided visits to Bangkok's spiritual sites, including the Erawan Shrine. Guests can also tour the Nai Lert Park Heritage Home, try their hand at crafting a handkerchief garland, and join a mixology workshop centred on Thai lemonade.
