The company began in 1967 as a family business producing artisan biscuits and traditional Catalan Christmas products. In the 1970s, Sosa began developing ingredients for ice cream, expanding its range throughout the 1980s to create an exquisite product line for ice-cream production. In 2000, the company entered the gastronomy and pastry sector with the introduction of its range of nuts.
